Our safes have a 2-hour fire rating. This rating means that the safe’s interior is 350 degrees F (177 C) or under for two hours. In other words, your belongings should be kept secure in the event of a fire for two hours.
This answer depends on your home. Consider placing the safe in an area where no one will look. Avoid frequently broken into areas, such as the garage.
While resistant to water, none of our safes are waterproof. Therefore, you may want to avoid placing them in areas prone to flooding.
Bolting the safe can add an extra layer of security. Please read the included instructions on how to successfully bolt. If you need additional assistance with bolting your safe to the floor, please get in touch with us.

Our safes offer protections so tough that most burglars will give up due to how long it will take to break in. Of course, no safe is truly burglar-proof, but our safes will drastically reduce the chances of a successful break-in.
