What Does it Mean When a Safe Has a 2-Hour Fire Rating?
Our safes have a 2-hour fire rating. This rating means that the safe’s interior is 350 degrees F (177 C) or under for two hours. In other words, your belongings should be kept secure in the event of a fire for two hours.
Where Should I Store My Safe?
This answer depends on your home. Consider placing the safe in an area where no one will look. Avoid frequently broken into areas, such as the garage.
Are These Safes Waterproof?
While resistant to water, none of our safes are waterproof. Therefore, you may want to avoid placing them in areas prone to flooding.
How Do I Bolt the Safe to the Floor?
